I'm not sure about their 'friending habits', but there is a confirmed number on @Osaka's profile that is very impressive: Have a look at their Medal Score! From first-hand experience I can confirm that a medal collection of that quantity is incredibly hard to build up. Getting even to 120,000 points is already _quite_ the achievement.
The reason I knew of Osaka before they started reacting to stuff they read in the Artist News was that they are a person who pops up frequently in the list of 'first 6 users to unlock a medal'.
